2012

First System Built

Our management team built the initial system for People’s Bank. We quickly grew originations leveraging the technology and bi-directional integration into Encompass, owned by Ice, the largest mortgage technology provider in the US.

2014

Legacy Platform

As People’s Bank saw more success with the platform, Insellerate opened it up to all lenders in the industry. The first commercial addition of the platform is officially released.

2016

NEW INNOVATIVE PLATFORM DESIGN

Insellerate continues to update the architect and design of the platform, including the infrastructure and critical design elements. Version 3 ‘Katmandu’ of Insellerate commercially released, with new infrastructure, look and feel. CRM and Lead Management are released, enabling clients to have complete control over their workflow and how their teams interact with leads.

Josh is a seasoned entrepreneur whose impact on the mortgage industry at large is unmistakable from his early days to working at a mortgage company, to rising the ranks, to running a mortgage company; he has helped thousands of people realize the dream of homeownership, has personally trained 1,000’s of loan officers that are directly impacting hundreds of thousands of borrowers if not millions over his 21-year career. Josh now dedicates himself solely to helping other lenders be more successful through better borrower engagement. He is transforming the borrower and LO experience with his leading technology company Insellerate which enables lenders to achieve higher revenue goals while creating customers for life.

In addition, Friend is viewed as a thought leader within the mortgage and technology space and has been published numerous times in leading real estate finance publications such as Housing Wire, Tomorrow’s Mortgage Executive, National Mortgage News, National Mortgage Professional, and Today’s Lending Insight. He is also a recognized speaker who regularly presents at national and state mortgage association conferences. Jack has a degree from The University of Pennsylvania in Real Estate Finance/ Corporate Finance, he leads daily operations and is responsible for making sure our client’s needs are met through the company’s user-centric product. He enjoys the fast pace and fantastic combination of people, technology, and process. A friend has consistently demonstrated the ability to create vision, strategy, and consensus-building for a very divergent group of mortgage industry stakeholders on complex technical topics.

He has developed and executed large-scale technology projects that enable lenders to operate more efficiently and to continuously grow and improve their lending organizations. His ability to design and deliver innovative solutions to the mortgage marketplace has directly impacted thousands of people and has been used to fund billions of dollars of transactions in the mortgage marketplace having a significant impact on the mortgage industry.

ALLEN CHEN

LEAD ARCHITECT

Allen honed his mortgage technology skills at a large consumer direct mortgage company with additional stops in the medical and entertainment industries. All were a variety of unique experiences with a strong focus on developing secure and impactful technology. At Insellerate, Allen manages the development team and oversees the entire SDLC. He’s also responsible for designing a secure, fast, and adaptable platform to meet business demands and clients’ needs.

Duke is the founder and former CEO of DRI Management, a default management software solution, that he sold to Service Link in 2013. He now spends time surfing, with family, and managing a fleet of sunset cruise boats in Maui.

Fred Melgaard

Fred is a software entrepreneur and manager with extensive experience in the mortgage servicing and origination software business at companies such as DRI Management, Great Western Bank, and Harland. He accomplished his goal last year of skiing over one million vertical feet.

Let’s Close California’s Digital Divide In Education

“We are committed to helping bridge a gap so that all students have access to critical learning through an Internet connection and computer,”

Insellerate is partnered with Project Hope Alliance, as part of our commitment to helping California’s youth succeed.

As students across California looked to begin a new school year at the start of 2020, thousands of students were experiencing homelessness, and left without access to proper Wi-Fi and technology.

This created a digital divide between those who can participate in distance learning and those who can’t. For each demo booked and performed in September, Insellerate made a donation to Project Hope Alliance who serves the 32,000 homeless children in Orange County.

Insellerate will continue to distribute Chromebooks and Wi-Fi to allow for all school-age children to participate in online learning. With education being the great equalizer of our youth’s future, we can’t afford to address this essential need, which is why Insellerate is a proud partner in this campaign.

When children have access to education, they can change the world and Insellerate will continue to be a part of this effort and advocate for California’s youth.
